Outline of Research at the Start	心臓弁膜症は心不全を誘発する重要な因子である。しかし、弁膜症におけるゲノムワイド関連解析（GWAS）は十分に行われていない。そこで我々は、バイオバンク・ジャパン（BBJ）の臨床データとエコーデータをもとに弁膜症のdeep phenotypingを実施し、世界初の弁膜症とそのサブタイプに対する包括的GWASを実施した。BBJに加え欧州のゲノムデータを利用したメタアナリシスにより、心臓の４弁における狭窄、逆流などの機能異常で分類した弁膜症サブタイプにおいて疾患感受性座位を同定した。さらにその下流解析として、各弁膜症サブタイプの遺伝的基盤の差異の解明、疾患予測スコアの創出などをおこなう。
