Outline of Research at the Start

心腎連関による複数臓器の障害と各臓器の石灰化、線維化にかかわるメカニズムの解明と、病態の新規バイオマーカー、予防・治療標的の同定が望まれる。分担研究者の佐藤は耳下腺特異的タンパクであるproline-rich proteins (PRPs)が一部FGF23依存性に唾液及び血液中に分泌され骨へのリン蓄積抑制に働くという新規機能を同定した。本申請研究では、信州大学循環器内科に入院する心血管病現患者連続約1000例の唾液と血液を採取し、唾液および血液中のPRPsであるhPRB1を測定し、hPRB1の心血管病の病態・予後予測新規バイオマーカーおよび新規心腎血管病予防・治療薬としての意義解明を目指す。
