Outline of Research at the Start

中性脂肪蓄積心筋血管症（TGCV）は希少難病とされてきた。近年、疾患概念の浸透により本邦での患者報告数が増加し、希少疾患ではないことが分かってきた。またその多くは、ATGLをコードする遺伝子の異常が原因である原発性TGCVでなく、特発性TGCVと考えられている。特発性TGCVは青年期から壮年期に発症し、遺伝的要因が明らかになっておらず、またその疾患重症度の判定についても不明である。以上より、本研究では特発性TGCVの遺伝的要因を解明し、また各種画像診断や心筋生検で得られる本疾患の特徴を用いて、特発性TGCVの重症度層別化を目指す。
