Outline of Research at the Start

胎児の形成過程において、哺乳類の心臓は、様々な種類の細胞からの誘導を受けた複数種の細胞より形成される。近年、ヒト多能性幹細胞から心筋細細胞を誘導する方法が確立されているが、その方法には多様性が乏しく、目的のサブタイプの心筋細胞や成熟した心筋細胞を得づらい、という問題がある。本研究では代表者が開発した新規の心筋誘導法を確立し、そこに既存の方法を組み合わせることで、多様な心筋細胞・組織の作成法開発を目指します。
