Outline of Research at the Start

心房細動を主たる原因とする心原性脳梗塞は脳梗塞全体の約30%を占め、血栓により脳血管の閉塞をきたすため梗塞範囲が広範囲となり、介護が必要となる割合や死亡率が他の脳塞栓症と比較して高いことが知られている。一方、抗凝固薬による治療は心原性脳梗塞の予防に有効であるにもかかわらず、治療が行われていない心房細動患者が多く存在すると考えられている。
本研究では奈良県の健診データ、レセプトデータを用い、住民健診で心房細動と判定された者の医療機関の受診の有無および抗凝固薬の服薬の有無について分析を行い、さらに未受診者に直接フォローアップを行うことで心房細動患者を医療機関受診に繋げる取り組みを行う。
