Outline of Research at the Start

胸部SMARCA4変異（欠損）がんは悪性度が高く治療法が確立されていない難治性がんである。最近、抗体に薬剤を結合させた抗体薬物複合体(ADC)が開発され驚異的な効果が報告されている。私たちはADCに用いる抗体を選別するツールを作製して数多くのADCに有用な候補抗体を樹立してきた。その結果、TROP2を標的としたADCを第一三共と共同で開発に至った。この抗体薬は非小細胞肺がんおよびトリプルネガティブ乳がんの治療薬として日米で承認されたところである。本研究はこのノウハウを応用して胸部SNARCA4変異がん治療を目的とした新規ADC型抗体薬の開発を目指すものである。
