Outline of Research at the Start

臨床研究から慢性腎臓病及びその合併症に関連する代謝物として検出された尿中DHA及び血中SDMAについて、その分子生物学的な意義について培養細胞を用いて検証を行い、慢性腎臓病の進展あるいは合併症の発生にこれらの代謝物が関与するかを検討する。因果関係が立証されれば、実際に臨床で有効な治療法が開発される可能性がある。また引き続き慢性腎臓病あるいはその合併症に関連する代謝物を探索する。
