Outline of Research at the Start

遺伝性血管性浮腫（HAE）は主にC1 インヒビター（C1-INH）の異常で全身に浮腫が生じる希少疾患で、喉頭浮腫が適切に治療されない場合の致死率は30%である。近年C1-INH 以外の遺伝子異常によりHAE が生じることが判明し、HAEnC1（HAE3型）としての新たな病型が提唱されている。しかし本邦ではHAEの遺伝子検査の体系的システムは確立されておらず、他の血管性浮腫との鑑別が難しい。本研究では、本邦におけるHAE の診断実態の全国規模調査を実施し、体系的なHAE の遺伝子検査システムの構築を目指す。さらにHAE3型の鑑別に役立つ生化学的な診断バイオマーカーに関する研究を行う。
