Outline of Research at the Start

遺伝性骨髄不全症 の一種であるファンコニ貧血(FA)の造血幹細胞は胎児期の肝臓における増殖が野生型と比較して低下している。これまでの研究結果から、この胎児造血幹細胞の増殖不全は造血幹細胞自体におけるFA分子の欠損によるものではなく、何 らかの外的環境要因によって引き起こされていることが示唆される。本研究ではこの外的環境要因を明らかにし、FA発症メカニズムを明らかにすることを主な目的としたい。
