Outline of Research at the Start

骨髄異形成症候群(MDS)は造血幹細胞より発生するクローン性造血器腫瘍であり、造血不全症状を呈する高齢者に好発するがんである。近年、DNAメチル化やヒストン修飾などエピゲノム制御の破綻がクローン性造血およびMDS発症に深く関与することが認識された。本研究では、異常造血幹細胞がクローン拡大からMDS発症に至る分子機序を、CRISPRスクリーニングの系を用いて明らかにするとともに、疾患の治療または発症予防の方策についても併せて検討する。
