Outline of Research at the Start	応募者らは発作性夜間ヘモグロビン尿症（PNH）に対する同系移植の経験から、正常造血幹細胞に対する免疫学的攻撃だけでも、PNHを発症し得るほどPIGA変異造血幹細胞が拡大しうること、また、その攻撃にはCD4陽性T細胞が関与していることを最近明らかにした。野生型造血幹細胞を抑制することによってPNHクローンを増殖させるCD4陽性T細胞を効果的に抑制する免疫抑制薬が同定されれば、再生不良性貧血（AA）のPNHへの移行を防げるだけでなく、PNH自身をも治せる可能性がある。そこで本研究では、AA患者において自己の造血幹前駆細胞に反応するCD4陽性T細胞を検出し、その反応を抑制する免疫抑制剤を同定する。
