Outline of Research at the Start	造血幹細胞移植は難治性血液疾患に根治をもたらし得る治療法であるが、肝類洞閉塞症候群や血栓性微小血管症などの血管内皮細胞障害に起因する内皮症候群が20～30%の頻度で発症する。これらには有効な診断・治療法が確立していないため致死率が極めて高くなる。シンデカン（SDC）は血管内皮細胞に発現する膜蛋白質でグリコカリックスの主要構成成分の一つである。われわれは血管内皮障害に伴いSDCが血管内皮から剥がれ血中濃度が上がると考える。移植患者のSDC血中濃度を継時的に測定し内皮症候群の早期診断マーカーとなり得るか見極める。また、SDCの発現を維持することで内皮症候群の予防・治療を行う戦略の基盤形成を目指す。
