Outline of Research at the Start

難治性の気道疾患であるポリープを伴う好酸球性副鼻腔炎(eCRS)、難治性気管支喘息の両者の共通の原因として鉄依存性脂質酸化依存性の制御性細胞死であるフェロトーシスに注目した。耳鼻咽喉科の豊富な手術検体を活用して, フェロトーシスを介した上下気道統合炎症病態（United airway disease）ならびに重症Ⅱ型炎症の病態機序解明を行う。
