Outline of Research at the Start

2型炎症とは、2型ヘルパーT細胞や2型自然リンパ球に由来するIL-4、IL-5、IL-13などの
2型サイトカインが、好酸球、マスト細胞、好塩基球、M2マクロファージなどの免疫細胞や表皮細胞、線維芽細胞などの組織構成細胞に作用することにより形成される複合的な炎症応答である。アトピー性皮膚炎は、2型炎症を背景に発症する激しい痒みを伴う慢性皮膚疾患である。しかし、2型炎症による痒みの発症機序には、まだ不明な点が多い。本研究の目的は、我々が独自に開発したアトピー性皮膚炎モデルマウスである「FADSマウス」を用い、痒みの発症機序を解明し、治療戦略の基盤構築を目指すことである。
