Outline of Research at the Start

中枢性神経免疫疾患である多発性硬化症やその類縁疾患である視神経脊髄炎やMOG抗体関連疾患、非典型例である腫瘍様脱髄病変を起こすtumefactive MSの免疫病態を病理学的、免疫学的、遺伝学的に明らかにする。多数例の臨床情報と血清・髄液サイトカインや、病態に重要な役割を果たす補体や免疫関連蛋白の遺伝的素因と、重症化や再発リスクとの関連を調べ、予後予測マーカーを明らかにし、各患者に適した薬剤選択、治療強度を判断に役立つ知見を明らかにする。
