Outline of Research at the Start

ウイルス感染による宿主免疫の過剰な活性化は重篤な脳炎や肺炎を誘発する。そこで近年ウイルス性脳炎の発症に関与する宿主側の遺伝的要因として指摘されているTLR3刺激からI型インターフェロン産生に至るシグナル伝達経路に注目し、「大村天然化合物ライブラリー」より見出されたTLR3シグナルの修飾活性を有する複数の天然由来化合物の薬理活性を明らかにする。
