Outline of Research at the Start

慢性肺アスペルギルス症は、現行の抗真菌薬治療では限界があり、治療成績の向上には免疫学的アプローチを含めた複合的な治療戦略の開発が必要である。申請者らは、摂食亢進ペプチドであるグレリンと免疫応答の関連や慢性肺アスペルギルス症患者は血中グレリン値が低下していることを見出した。本研究では、複数のマウスモデルを用いて、アスペルギルス感染によるグレリンシグナルへの影響とグレリン投与による免疫賦活化を介した抗アスペルギルス効果を検討する。
