Outline of Research at the Start	肝臓は強い再生能力を有するものの、再生能力が低下していたり、残肝容積が少なくなったりした場合には、肝切除後肝不全として定義される重篤な合併症を呈し、長期の加療を要することがある。現状の治療は輸液や腹水管理を行いながら栄養療法を継続して肝再生を待つ対症療法が中心で、肝再生に直接的に働きかける治療法は確立されていない。そこで本研究では、重篤な合併症である肝切除後肝不全に対し、摘出肝から分離した自己肝細胞をリプログラミングした化学的誘導肝前駆細胞（Chemically-induced Liver Progenitor; CLiP）を投与することにより、肝再生の促進を目指す。
