Outline of Research at the Start

Lipolysis-stimulated lipoprotein receptor（LSR）はリポ蛋白質に結合する細胞膜蛋白質で、①脂質の細胞内への取り込みによる脂質代謝に関与する機能、②下流につながる細胞増殖シグナルへの関与が報告されている。我々はこれまで、胃癌の実験モデルにおいて、抗LSR抗体を用いた機能阻害が、細胞増殖シグナルを抑制し、胃癌に対して抗腫瘍効果を示す可能性を報告した。
本研究では、さらに胃癌細胞におけるLSRを介した脂質取り込みのメカニズムや、取り込まれた脂肪酸の胃癌細胞における機能を解明し、さらにはLSR抗体を用いた新規治療の開発を行う。
