本研究は食道胃接合部癌の切除検体から腫瘍浸潤リンパ球の多い症例と少ない症例で網羅的ゲノム解析を行い、食道胃接合部癌独自のT cell inflamed phenotypeを創出することで、食道胃接合部癌に特化したバイオマーカーの探索や食道胃接合部癌の免疫医療の発展を目指したトランスレーショナルリサーチである。
