Outline of Research at the Start

代表者は癌由来BMP4に よる筋再生障害を起点としたがんcahexia誘導 の新機序を着想した。すなわち、「癌細胞が異所性・永続的にBMP4を分 泌した場合、myoblastへの増殖シグナルが持続するため筋分化・再生過程が阻害され、時間経 過と共に筋肉量は減少し筋萎縮(がんcachexia)を引き起こす」以上の仮説のもと、2025~2027年（3年間）でi計画したn vitro及びin vivo研究を遂行する予定である。
