Outline of Research at the Start

非アルコール性脂肪肝炎（NASH）など生活習慣に起因する発症が増加している。現状、生活習慣における肝細胞癌の進展増悪を抑制する要素を発見することはこの疾患においての重要な課題である。この課題では自然経過で脂肪肝炎、肝細胞癌を発症するSTAMTMマウスに実験的に口腔内の代表的な疾患である歯周病を形成し、特に肝細胞癌の発生、進展にどのような影響をもたらすか、肝組織の網羅的発現遺伝子解析を行い、また次世代シークエンス解析にて肝臓に到達する細菌の解析を行い、発がんの機序を解明し、歯周病、口の炎症などのどの要素が口腔内における発がん、がん進展に関連する要素（以下　口腔発がん因子）であるかを見出したい。
