Outline of Research at the Start

KRAS inhibitorが注目されているが、早期薬剤耐性獲得が問題視されている。その薬剤耐性克服の鍵の一つが腫瘍内のInterferonγとされる。我々は、Interferon alpha (IFNA)- Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) axisの制御が膵癌内のIFNγを上昇させ、膵癌増殖を抑制することを明らかにしており、Interferon alpha receptor1遮断によるIFNA-STAT3 axisの制御がKRAS inhibitorの薬剤耐性を克服できる可能性が期待される。
