Outline of Research at the Start

近年、本邦を含め先進国を中心に50歳以下で診断される若年発症大腸癌が急速に増加しており、特に40歳未満の患者において顕著な増加が確認されている。高齢発症の従来型大腸癌に比べて診断時に病期が進行しており予後が不良であるという特色があるため臨床上大きな問題となっている。シングルセル解析技術を活用し、より精細な細胞レベル、分子レベルの知見を得ることで、若年発症大腸癌の分子学的特徴を明らかにし、予後に関する因子や新規治療標的の同定を目指す。
