Outline of Research at the Start

ゲノム編集したヒトiPS細胞から肝細胞へと分化させ、既存の肝癌細胞株ではなく正常肝細胞において脂肪肝モデルを作成しフェロトーシスを評価し、肝障害に陥る分子機序を解明する。癌部と非癌部で治療ターゲットが異なる可能性がある細胞死のメカニズムを、正常肝細胞を用いることで肝癌治療から肝発癌の制御に至る革新的網羅的癌治療に結びつく可能性を秘めた研究である。
