Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では第一段階で術前抗薬物治療を行った膵癌切除標本を用いて薬物奏功例と無効例における腫瘍内細菌叢の多様性の比較を行い、治療感受性に重要な役割を担う腫瘍内細菌群を解明する。さらに第二段階で薬物治療感受性の高い腫瘍群に認める腫瘍内細菌株カクテルを作製し、「腫瘍内細菌株カクテル投与が、膵癌微小環境を改変し、薬物治療感受性を改善させる」という仮説を証明する。本研究は、膵癌に対する治療法の一機序開発の基盤となり得る。
