Outline of Research at the Start

心理的ストレスにより、通常は苦痛とならない刺激が痛みとして認識される現象は、慢性疼痛の発症と関連しているが、その脳内機序は未解明である。本研究では、反復社会的敗北ストレス（cSDS）モデルを用い、負の情動が引き起こす痛み閾値の低下機構を解明する。具体的には、広範な脳領域の電気活動記録、カルシウムイメージング、化学遺伝学的手法による神経細胞の操作を通じて、関連する神経回路を同定する。これにより、情動と痛覚の接点にある神経基盤を明らかにし、難治性慢性疼痛の新たな診断・治療法の開発に寄与する。
