Outline of Research at the Start

心臓血管手術の予後を左右するものに血栓塞栓症がある。近年、糖たんぱく質や多糖類でできた細胞表面を被覆する構造体の血管内皮グリコカリックス（eGCX）が注目されており、手術侵襲で障害を受け、機能障害を生じることが明らかになっている。心臓外科周術期に起こる合併症の背景における微小血栓症とeGCX傷害との関連性に着目した。本研究の目的は、心臓血管手術後患者における各臓器のeGCXの障害の度合いと微小血栓形成との関係を明らかにし、新たな臓器保護戦略を提案することである。
