本研究は、劇症型A群溶連菌感染症における自然炎症抑制の背景にある病原性因子を明らかにすることを目的とする。GASとマウス由来樹状細胞の共培養系において、炎症性サイトカインmRNAの発現および上清中タンパク量を指標に、炎症応答を評価する。さらに、GAS培養上清中から炎症抑制作用を有するタンパク分子を分離・同定し、その作用経路としてC型レクチン関連シグナル経路の関与を解析する。感染性病原体由来の自然炎症制御メカニズムを明らかにし、重症感染症の新たな制御標的探索に資することを目指す。
