Outline of Research at the Start

小児脳腫瘍は小児がんで死亡する原因で第一位であることから、一刻も早い新規治療標的の同定/新規治療法の開発が望まれている。そこで今回、腫瘍の悪性化の新規epigeneticな制御メカニズム/治療標的として近年注目されつつある”Epigenetic reader domain制御異常”に特に狙いを絞った小児脳腫瘍に対する新規治療標的分子の探索をin vitro/in vivoの実験系で行い、最終的には同腫瘍に対する新規治療モデルの確立を目指す。
