Outline of Research at the Start

脊椎手術後に生じる硬膜外線維性瘢痕 (Epidural fibrosis)は、手術後の慢性疼痛および神経障害性疼痛の発生に関連し、線維性癒着は再手術時の神経損傷のリスクを高める。Epidural fibrosisは脊椎手術の解決すべき臨床上大きな問題点である。Micro-Fragmented Adipose Tissue (MFAT)は皮下脂肪より採取した脂肪組織を攪拌・洗浄・濃縮した、微小細断脂肪組織片であり、脂肪由来幹細胞、前駆細胞が濃縮されており、近年、再生医療に臨床応用されている。本研究課題では、MFATが椎弓切除後の硬膜外瘢痕および硬膜線維性癒着を抑制出来るかを検証する。
