Outline of Research at the Start	腱・靭帯－骨付着部（例：肩腱板）の断裂は治癒能力が低く、既存の外科的修復術では再断裂率が高い点は課題である。本研究は、自己脂肪由来幹細胞（ADSC）を用いた新たな再生医療アプローチ開発を目指す。ADSCから腱および骨組織へと分化誘導した細胞構造体をin vitroで作製し、共培養により癒合させた腱－骨付着部構造体を作製する。この構造体の力学的強度と組織学的特性を評価し、動物欠損モデルへの移植により生体内での組織再生と機能回復を検証する。人工材料フリーの付着部再建法の確立を目指す。
