Outline of Research at the Start

PAI-1は加齢制御因子である。腸内細菌叢は加齢に伴って変化し、さまざまな疾患を引き起こす要因となっている。変形性関節症やサルコペニアなど、加齢に伴う運動器官の機能低下は健康寿命を短縮する。本研究では運動器官加齢制御機構におけるPAI-1の機能を解明し、将来的には加齢減少の予防医学につなげることを目的とする。
