Outline of Research at the Start	骨軟部肉腫は希少がんにも関わらず組織型が多彩な難治性疾患で、有効な治療法が乏しく新規治療法の開発が切望されている。SMARCB1/INI1（以下INI1）は22番染色体長腕に存在するがん抑制遺伝子でSWI/SNF複合体の主要なサブユニットで、その欠失は類上皮肉腫に特徴的とされている。その他の骨軟部肉腫にもINI1が欠失しているものが存在し、滑膜肉腫ではINI1の発現が減弱していると報告されている。本研究の目的は、INI1の発現に異常を有する骨軟部肉腫の細胞株を用いてINI1の機能を解析し、腫瘍の発生や生存や増殖に関わる標的遺伝子を同定し、有望な分子標的治療に繋げることである。
