Outline of Research at the Start	膀胱収縮力の低下によって、効率よく尿を排出できない低活動膀胱は、高齢者で多く見られ、生活の質を低下や尿路感染、腎機能障害に影響を及ぼすにも関わらず、現時点では有用な治療法が存在しない疾患です。本研究では、低活動膀胱における排尿時の尿道機能に着眼して、これらに影響を及ぼす因子や機能低下へと導くメカニズムの解明ならびに尿道機能の簡便な評価法の開発を目的とします。本研究成果は、低活動膀胱の新規治療につながることが期待されます。
