Outline of Research at the Start

尿路上皮癌は限局癌においても再発率が高く、進行例では全身治療の奏効率が十分でなく予後不良である。近年、様々な癌種において細菌情報が腫瘍内免疫や悪性度と相関することが報告されているが、メカニズムは十分に解明されていない。本研究では、尿路上皮癌の抗腫瘍免疫に関与する細菌種を同定および機序を解明し、発癌・再発予防や新規抗癌治療薬の開発を目指す。
