Outline of Research at the Start

膀胱癌は最も多い癌の一つである。癌の根元が膀胱の筋層に深く浸潤する筋層浸潤癌(MIBC)は生存率が悪い。MIBCに特殊な性質を持つ癌（subtype）が知られており、標準治療に対する反応が異なるため特に生存率が悪い。Basal/Squamousはsubtypeのうち最多だが、診断は病理医の見た目診断である。我々は見た目に依らない診断方法の開発と、最終的にはsubtype毎の治療法を開発する。
