Outline of Research at the Start

尿路上皮癌は近年、罹患率・死亡数とも増加傾向にあり、特に遠隔転移例では5年生存率が約1割と予後が極めて悪く、新規治療法の開発が急務である。近年、癌細胞表面に高発現するNectin-4を標的とした抗体薬物複合体（エンフォルツマブ・ベドチン；EV）が導入され、既存治療抵抗例にも高い効果が示されたが、副作用の軽減が重要課題である。本研究では、癌特有の糖鎖修飾を持つNectin-4特異的な抗体を作製し、副作用を抑えた革新的な治療法の確立を目指す。
