Outline of Research at the Start

前立腺癌における予後及び治療効果予測と、既存治療薬の追加治療効果に対するGOT1の意義を解明する。多くの癌細胞は癌代謝リプログラミングでエネルギー需要の増加に対応しており、癌代謝は癌治療の重要な治療標的になりうると考える。本研究によって前立腺癌におけるGOT1の役割を解明すれば、GOT1を標的とした新たな治療法の開発や、進行性前立腺癌に対する従来の治療法の洗練化に繋がることが期待される。
