Outline of Research at the Start

日本排尿機能学会の最近の疫学調査から、低活動膀胱の罹患率は、20歳以上の男性で9.3％、女性で4.0％と我々は報告している。近年、低活動膀胱の改善に血管内皮増殖因子（VEGF）、肝細胞増殖因子（HGF）や神経成長因子（NGF）をはじめとする様々な増殖因子が関与していることが推測されているが、未だに直接的な証拠は示されていない。そこで本研究では膀胱局所におけるVEGF投与の低活動膀胱に対する有効性とその作用機序を解明することを目的としている。本研究により低活動膀胱に対する血管内皮増殖因子膀胱内壁注入療法の開発の道を拓く。
