Outline of Research at the Start

卵巣子宮内膜症性嚢胞を合併する不妊女性では、卵巣機能が低下し卵胞発育が抑制されることが知られるものの、その病態メカニズムは未だ明らかでない。本研究では、卵巣子宮内膜症性嚢胞の周辺環境を模倣した３次元ラット卵胞培養モデルを用いて、卵巣子宮内膜症性嚢胞の存在が、卵巣局所で慢性炎症や鉄過剰状態を誘導し、酸化ストレスと組織線維化をもたらす結果、卵胞発育を阻害してしまう可能性について検討する。卵巣子宮内膜症性嚢胞を有する生殖年齢女性において、卵巣局所の慢性炎症や酸化ストレス・組織線維化を制御することで、卵巣機能を保護・維持するための新たな治療戦略を探索する。
