Outline of Research at the Start

子宮頸がん治療に近年免疫チェックポイント阻害薬（Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor: ICI）が使用可能となったが、その治療効果は十分なものではない。本研究は、子宮頸がんにおける免疫逃避に着目し、ICI治療抵抗性の子宮頸癌に対して腫瘍溶解性ヘルペスウイルス（oncolytic HSV）を用いた免疫逃避改善を誘導する新規治療法開発を目的とする基礎研究である。 当該申請課題では研究期間内に、子宮頸がんICI治療モデルマウスにおける治療抵抗性腫瘍の腫瘍微小環境を確認する。さらにin vivoにおいて子宮頸がんICI治療モデルマウスにおける治療抵抗性腫瘍に対するoncolytic HSV による抗腫瘍効果を検証し、臨床応用に向けての基礎データを収集する。
