Outline of Research at the Start

卵巣明細胞がん(CCC)に対する抗VEGF抗体と抗PD-1抗体の併用の有効性を示す臨床試験データが示されているが、腫瘍免疫学的機序は未解明である。本研究では、VEGF経路がCCCの腫瘍免疫微小環境(TIME)をどう変化させ、ICI併用にどう影響するのかを明らかにする。腫瘍関連マクロファージや骨髄由来抑制細胞などのミエロイド系細胞に着目しつつ、マウスモデルのデータ、ヒトサンプルの遺伝子発現データの解析を行う。本研究は、CCCのTIMEを明らかにし、抗VEGF抗体とICIの併用療法の奏効機序の解明、ミエロイド系細胞を標的とした治療開発、治療個別化へ向けたリバーストランスレーショナルリサーチとなる。
