Outline of Research at the Start

グレリンは胃から分泌される同化ホルモンで、食欲亢進や筋肉保護作用を有することから、大腸癌、肺癌など一部の癌に対する悪液質治療薬、アナモレリンとして近年臨床応用が開始された。一方でグレリンのスプライシングバリアントであるIn1グレリンは乳癌・前立腺癌で高発現しており、癌細胞の増殖・浸潤に関与していると報告されているが、卵巣癌との関連は不明である。本研究では、卵巣癌とIn1グレリンの関連性を明らかにし、アナモレリンの適応癌腫が拡大する中、卵巣癌においてアナモレリンが安全に使用できるか検討する。
