Outline of Research at the Start

排卵障害は女性の不妊症の主な原因の一つであり、その代表的な疾患として多嚢胞性卵巣症候群（PCOS）と早発卵巣不全（POI）が挙げられます。PCOSでは卵胞の発育が停滞し、POIでは卵胞自体が枯渇することにより排卵が妨げられます。本研究では、これら異なる病態の背景に、卵子を取り巻く顆粒膜細胞（体細胞分裂）と卵子自身（減数分裂）の細胞周期の協調不全が共通して関与しているという仮説のもと、その分子メカニズムを明らかにし、新たな排卵障害の治療法の開発を目指します。
