Outline of Research at the Start

オキシトシンと性腺ホルモン関連疾患との関わりについて、更年期およびPCOSのモデル動物を用いた基礎検討ならびに患者を対象とした臨床研究を行う。はじめに、オキシトシンの治療効果を高めるための方法について、投与のタイミングや投与経路に焦点を当てて検討する。次に動物実験で得られた結果がヒト（女性）において再現されるか検討する。一連の研究結果をもとに、オキシトシンの作用低下が病態に強く関わる対象疾患・対象群を明らかにするとともに、オキシトシンを用いた根本的かつ包括的な健康増進法を提案する。また、得られた研究成果を広く周知することで、オキシトシンの重要性についての認知度を高めるよう努める。
