Outline of Research at the Start

唾液腺癌に代表される非扁平上皮癌は、頭頸部癌の中でも希少癌に位置付けられている、そのため、治療開発に必要な前臨床モデルや治療標的に乏しい。申請者らはバイオバンク信州や愛知医科大学との共同研究で、新たな「患者由来細胞」の樹立法を開発した。本方法は、化合物により原発巣からの長期細胞培養増幅を可能にする画期的な培養法である。本研究では、まず本学のバイオバンク信州と連動して希少唾液腺癌組織を収集し、患者由来癌モデルを新規に樹立する。そして、現在は血液腫瘍にのみ適用されているCAR-T細胞療法が、唾液腺癌に応用可能か検証する。
