Outline of Research at the Start

転移RNA（transfer RNA：tRNA）修飾はタンパク質合成をエピジェネティックに制御するとして近年注目を集め、酸化ストレス防御機構やミトコンドリア機能障害との関連性も指摘されている。本研究では、治療法が確立されていない加齢性難聴・音響性聴器障害・嗅神経性嗅覚障害の病態形成における転移RNA修飾の関与をマウスを用いた実験で解明する。
