Outline of Research at the Start

申請者らは独自にうさぎの鼻腔の骨増生モデル及び骨増生抑制モデルを作成することに成功した。このモデルによって、骨増生の抑制のためには、骨の炎症をコントロールすることが重要で、そのために露出骨の上を早期に粘膜で被覆することが効果的であるとの仮説を立てた。今までの研究で解明した血流のある有茎粘膜弁の有用性に加え、早期に上皮化を促進するための細胞シートの有用性、粘膜創傷治癒を促進する鼻内パッキング資材や薬剤を検討することで、骨増生の予防方法の確立及び骨増生の病態の解明を目的とする。本研究の成果は内視鏡鼻副鼻腔手術後の新たな創傷治癒促進の治療法の開発に寄与するものである。
