Outline of Research at the Start	薬剤耐性を生じない光線力学的抗微生物化学療法（photodynamic antimicrobial chemotherapy：PACT）を用いた角膜感染症治療法の開発を目的とする。PACTは確実な治療法がないアカントアメーバを含め多様な病原微生物に抗微生物効果をもち、AMR対策として期待される治療法となりうる。我々は、これまで光感受性物質TONS504を用いたPACTの有用性を継続的に報告してきた。本研究は、in vivoで有効性が確認できたアカントアメーバ角膜炎に対するPACTを臨床応用する際の効果増強を得られる条件探索・設定と安全性確認を行うことを主目的とする。
